To stop logging

When you have finished making a copy of tables of output (logging) click on the link below to end the logging. You will then be presented with the stored data. To keep this file save it as an Excel worksheet file with a name of your choice. You must comply with firewall restrictions, providing your password where requested. The larger the log file the slower the process will be of saving from the internet to your computer.
If you do not save the log file at this point, future log sessions will overwrite it.

About the search estimates

This site provides straightforward access to Burden of Disease estimates for areas, diseases or age groups of your choice. Numerical estimates are provided with relevant text descriptions that aim to give meaning and assist in the interpretation of the information. An explanation of the methodology used and links to relevant web sites are available at all times. Information about the quality of the estimates is provided alongside brief indicators of quality to assist in the interpreting estimates.

Quality of the estimates is a very important consideration. Detailed assessments of the relevant level of reliability for each disease are provided in a quality summary. It is recommended that the summary be read before using the estimates for any purpose.
